Hi there, Ameera here!
This is one of my favorite fast dressings. It’s super easy to make, comes together in minutes, and tastes amazing.
You gotta give this one a try!
Tips for Success:
- Flavor Profile: This vinaigrette is lightly tangy, slightly sweet, herby and full of tasty flavor. The tahini does come through so if you are not a tahini fan then perhaps this dressing is not a good fit for you.
- Taste Testing Salad Dressings: There is an art to arriving at the salad dressing that perfectly suits your tastes. The best way to test salad dressings is to place a few leaves of lettuce (or other greens) in a tiny bowl, put a tiny bit of the salad dressing over top and mix really well, then taste test. Some salad dressings taste amazing before you dress the salad, then once dressing the salad, they fall flat. That is because the salad dressing has to cover all the salad ingredients and it flattens the flavor. Additionally, some salad dressings taste really tangy or overly strong before dressing the salad, but once you dress the salad, it coats all the ingredients and tastes amazing.
Leftovers and Freezing:
Leftovers will generally keep for 7 days in the refrigerator. Store in a covered container.
This dressing cannot be frozen.
Pantry Products Used:

Oh my! You two have done it again. This dressing is superb! I got away with only 2 T of maple syrup and sweet enough for me. Thank you for all of your hard work on such fantastic recipes.

This recipe is amazing. So good. I find in other dressing recipes that it tastes good in the jar ,but when I put it on the salad it sort of disappears unless I put quite a bit on. This recipe is so flavorful and you don’t have to pour a lot on to the the flavors. It’s just fantastic. Make it a day ahead so the flavors all come together. Keeps great in the fridge.

Deee-licious! I’m so picky about salad dressings that I’d rather go without one if I don’t care for it. Thank you both for this one! Your site is part of my Firefox Recipe “collection” and you’ve been my headliner for some time. Both my husband and I love cooking from your recipes.
The only modification we make is with the maple syrup — 2 Tbsp.

Yummm!! This might be my new favorite dressing! I used 2-3Tbsp of maple syrup because that’s what I had left in the bottle, and I ended up diluting the finished dressing with some almond milk to make it drizzle easier – it was still super flavorful on my salad! And so easy to make! Thank you!
