Hi! Ameera here!
If you love our traditional hummus recipe, then you will flip over this variation. It is delicious, healthy, and lusciously smooth. It boasts a beautiful avocado green color. The avocado flavor pairs perfectly with most southwestern dishes.
Gotta have it!
I love hummus, all kinds. I don’t think there is a hummus out there that I don’t like, I love them ALL. Our fridge always has hummus in it, along with tons of cut-up veggies for snacking. It is so satisfying, healthy, and delicious. You can’t go wrong with hummus, right?
Hummus is Hummus!
You know what is really funny? Micho’s face when he sees hummus that is not the color that he thinks it “should” be. He just doesn’t get the whole “flavored hummus” thing. In his mind, hummus is hummus, and if there are any flavors to be added, they are typically added on top of the hummus, like olive oil, pine nuts, olives, or herbs.
Avocado Wondrousness
I love putting this beautiful hummus on southwestern foods. It is like the best of both worlds; I like to add it like I would a sour cream. The creaminess cools down spicy dishes, coupled with the avocado flavor makes this hummus ultra-delicious. It is just that good!
Robin here!
Simple, flavorful, and oh so good, this hummus is A-MAZING to use as a topper. I can’t get enough of it. I love avocados and (in another life) I loved sour cream. This hummus mimics a flavorful sour cream texture and coolness.
Again, I freakin’ love putting it on top of enchiladas, taco salads, quesadillas, fiesta salads, you name it, I have topped it with this incredible hummus!
This hummus is easily one of my favorites, but to be honest, I love it mostly as a topper more than anything else. It is just that perfect.
