Hi there, Ameera here!
This week’s Whip It Up Wednesday is our spicy, hot, and tangy Vegan Buffalo Sauce. We are working our way through converting as many sauces and dressings as we can to Whole Food Plant Based.
We started developing this sauce right before the Super Bowl, but then decided to set it aside as there was a flood of Buffalo Sauces hitting the web, and we felt ours need just a few tiny tweaks.
Those few tiny tweaks made the world of difference. This Buffalo sauce tastes heavenly. If you love a great Buffalo sauce that is bold, tangy, but not too hot, then this one will work for you. We absolutely love it!

Soooo Simple!
This dressing takes about 2 minutes to make. Just measure and dump all your ingredients into a bowl, whisk until smooth and emulsified and you are ready to rock and roll.
What could be better than that? Nothing, my friend 😉
Whip it up Wednesday
As you already know, every Wednesday, we feature a quick and easy recipe that can be “whipped up” in 20 minutes or less. This recipe can be made in a few minutes, which really helps speed things up in the kitchen.

We made it for our Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Wings (coming out on Friday 4-17-2020), but felt this sauce was so tasty, it deserved its own post.

I usually try recipes that have reviews so I can get a sense of how good it is before putting in the effort. I decided to take my chances and try this out since I had all of the ingredients on hand. I’m glad I did! It came out very flavorful and delicious. I made some fried tofu “chickun” nuggets and tossed them in this sauce. Very tasty. It also tastes great as a dip. Thank you for the recipe, it’s a keeper!

Holy smokes is this good. Bottled buffalo sauce was one of the “cheats” I occasionally allowed myself. Not any more — I just threw the bottle into the trash. Well done, ladies.

I absolutely love this sauce. My favorite is with the roasted cauliflower but we also like to dip pretzels in it. I usually make it according to the recipe but sometimes I add some liquid smoke. 1/4 tsp to a double batch. I always make a double!

My wife and I absolutely love this sauce. We use it alot. We like to snack and dip pretzels in it as well as roasted veggies One thing I did with it is double the recipe and to that add 1/4 tsp of liquid smoke. I don’t always do that but it adds and extra taste to it.
