Tips for Success:
- Flavor Profile: This tangy Dijon mustard-forward dressing is simple, fast, and can be made in less than 3 minutes. The Dijon mustard is the most prominent flavor which is lightly tempered by the tahini, miso, and nutritional yeast.
- Viscosity of the Dressing: This dressing is on the thinner side, but still very lightly coats the salad ingredients nicely.
- Oil Free Creamy Dijon Dressing: We also have a cashew-based Dijon Dressing as well, called Oil Free Creamy Dijon Dressing.
- Salad Ingredients for Ideas:
- Romaine
- Purple cabbage

Pantry Products:
- Dijon Mustard: We used Koops Dijon Mustard. Feel free to use your favorite Dijon mustard.
- Miso: We used Miso Master Organic Mellow White Premium Lite Miso, Certified Gluten Free. Miso really lends itself to balancing flavors when you don’t use oil. You can also use chickpea miso for a soy free version.
- Sea Salt: Please adjust the sea salt based upon your family’s sea salt preferences and/or based upon dietary needs.

Dressing Ingredients:
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard *
- 1 Tablespoon tahini
- 1 Tablespoon white miso *
- 3 Tablespoons pure maple syrup (+/-)
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ to ¾ teaspoon sea salt (+/-) *
Instructions
- Place all the Dressing Ingredients into a small bowl, whisk well until smooth and emulsified.
- Pour dressing over salad fixings, toss, and enjoy!
