Notes
*Sweet Chili: This dressing is inspired by the traditional sweet chili sauce. This dressing has those similar sweet flavors.
*Miso: We used Miso Master Organic Mellow White Premium Lite Miso, Certified Gluten Free. Miso really lends itself to balancing flavors when you don’t use oil. If you are going to live the Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle, then you will quickly find that miso is your friend.
*Tamari: We used San J Tamari Soy Sauce, Gluten Free, Reduced Sodium. You can substitute the tamari with reduced sodium soy sauce, Braggs Liquid Aminos, or Braggs Coconut Liquid Aminos.
*Serving: Makes approximately 2/3 cup of dressing.
*Storage: Refrigerate and use within 5 days.

Sorry, I see sweet chili is supposed to be one of the ingredients, but it isn’t in the recipe. Please, how much sweet chili is to be used? Can chili garlic sauce be used in place of it?
Hi there Babs 🙂
We sincerely apologize for the late response as Monkey has been on maternity leave and we are now just being able to address comments – thank you for your patience.
This sauce is mimicking a sweet chili sauce in dressing form. Since sweet chili sauce is not WFPB compliant, we are creating the flavor of sweet chili sauce without actually using sweet chili sauce in the dressing. Chili garlic sauce cannot be used as a substitute in this recipe. Hope this helps!

This dressing is THE BEST dressing I have ever had. OMG-I put in an asian Buddha bowl of rice noodles, baked broccoli, raw peppers and red onions, asparagus and chic peas. I Gobbled it! You guys inspire me.

This dressing is so good! I love the noodle salads at our local Korean restaurant but I know the dressing is made with sugar. I made a salad at home and thought I would try this for the dressing! This is an excellent recipe – so easy and quick too! I opted out of the red pepper flakes and I didn’t have miso and this was still excellent!

Love this dressing! We like a bit thicker dressing so I double the recipe, add 1-2 tbsp ground chia seeds, the liquid from a 12oz can of chick peas & blend with an immersion blender. Delicious!
