Description

This Vegan Tartar Sauce is the perfect accompaniment with your favorite vegan dishes.  The flavor is spot on, tangy and tart!  It is super easy to make.  Whole Food Plant Based, oil free, refined sugar free, no processed ingredients to minimally processed ingredients, and gluten free!


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup Silken Tofu – firm
  • 2 heaping teaspoon of capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons freeze dried chives or 2 teaspoons fresh chives-chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt (+/- to taste)
  • Dash of cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, add all ingredients, stir to mix everything together.
  2. Taste, adjust ingredients, if desired.
  3. Serve immediately or chill.
