Vegan Buffalo Bean Wraps are loaded with “Buffalo” flavored deliciousness. Fresh veggies and white cannellini beans are combined for a fast and easy wrap that is packed with tastiness. A quick Vegan Ranch dressing completes this week’s Whip It Up Wednesday.  Whole Food Plant Based recipe, no oil, no refined sugar, no highly processed ingredients and gluten free.

Bean Wrap Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons red or yellow onion, fine dice
  • 2 celery stalks, fine dice
  • ¼ carrot, grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Kite Hill Vegan cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon hot sauce (+/- to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt (+/- to taste)
  • Dash black pepper (+/- to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 115 oz. can cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed

Wrap Layer Ingredients:

  • wraps (use wrap of choice, we used Siete gluten free almond wraps) -or- sandwich bread of choice
  • lettuce/greens
  • grated carrots
  • celery sticks, very thinly sliced
  • hot sauce (we used Frank’s Hot Sauce)

Quick Vegan Ranch Dressing Ingredients:

  1. Make the Quick Vegan Ranch Dressing by combining all the ingredients into a small bowl and whisk well to combine and remove all the lumps.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Place all the Bean Wrap ingredients into a medium sized bowl, mix well, then mash the beans to desired consistency. Leave some coarsely chunked.
  3. Assemble the wrap by laying down your favorite tortilla wrap, then place down some greens, then 2 heaping tablespoons of the bean mixture, followed with some very thinly sliced celery sticks, grated carrots, then sprinkle on some extra hot sauce. Wrap up tightly, cut in half, and serve with a side of Quick Vegan Ranch Dressing for dipping. (Great as a sandwich too!)
