Description

This Garden Veggie Sauce bursts with bright, garden-fresh flavor and is equally delicious whether served with raw or lightly steamed vegetables, stirred into fluffy steamed brown rice, or drizzled as a vibrant salad dressing.


Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients:

  • ½ cup [raw] pepitas
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice *
  • ½ red bell pepper, chunked
  • 2 small tomatoes, cored and chunked *
  • ½ cup packed fresh parsley (leaves only)
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium tamari (optional) *

Herb/Spices Ingredients:

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Pinch to 1 teaspoon sea salt (+/-) * 

Serving Ideas:

  • Over steamed veggies or brown rice
  • Salad dressing
  • Garden Salad Pizza (Candida Elimination Diet)


Instructions

  1. Place all the Base Ingredients and all the Herb/Spice Ingredients into a high-speed blender, process until smooth and emulsified. Enjoy! Refrigerate leftovers.
