Description

Healthy, easy, and brimming with vibrant flavors, this Asian Snap Pea Salad is a perfect blend of crisp, fresh ingredients and bold, savory notes.


Ingredients

Salad Base Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. sugar snap peas, ends trimmed, sliced at a diagonal *
  • 1 red bell pepper, small dice
  • 4 to 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds (optional) *

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium tamari *
  • 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons tahini
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup (+/-) *
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried ground mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried ground ginger powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Pinch to ½ teaspoon sea salt (+/-) *


Instructions

  1. Place all the Dressing Ingredients into a small bowl and whisk until smooth and emulsified. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Place all the Salad Based Ingredients into a large bowl, mix to evenly distribute the ingredients, then set aside.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients, mix well to thoroughly coat all the ingredients. Serve and enjoy! Refrigerate leftovers.
